Debussy Song Recital

The Vasnier Songbook
Anna will be joined by Gillian Keith (soprano) and Nigel Foster (piano)
A performance of Debussy's complete Vasnier Songbook, including some unpublished material from the Bibliotheque National in Paris and the Library of Congress in Washington. Debussy wrote these songs for the married soprano Marie-Blanche Vasnier with whom he enjoyed an affair from 1880 to 1887
